What to Expect on Meet the Team Day
If you’re considering becoming a franchise owner, your path will include meeting the team as you learn more about the brand.

Becoming a franchise owner, also known as a franchisee, is a series of steps to ensure that this is the best fit for both you and the franchisor.
We have another article, What to Expect When You Explore Franchising, that outlines what happens from the first moment you call or email us. You may have found us through a friend posting about the company on LinkedIn, seen one of our digital ads on Facebook, or heard about us through the International Franchise Association directory.
However you heard about the Sticky Fingers Cooking franchise opportunity, if you are interested we are ready to hear from you and see if this is right for you—and us. Our ideal franchise owner is someone who wants to make a positive impact in their community and who can see the value of teaching children life skills. While there isn’t a need to have experience as a chef or a teacher, the most successful franchise owners are owner operators who are involved in the day-to-day operations. We want to hear from you if you are driven with an entrepreneurial spirit!
Once we have completed a virtual meeting called Discovery Day, we will then move ahead with an in-person Meet the Team Day.
Would We Make Good Partners?
Meet the Team Day is exactly what it sounds like—an in-person meeting at our headquarters in Denver, Colorado–so we can learn more about each other. Joining a franchise brand is like going into business together, although you will be running your own business day-to-day.

Here’s What to Expect During Meet the Team Day:
1. Bring your questions! Open communication is our jam!
2. You will be meeting with CEO and founder, Erin Fletter, COO Kimberly Douglas, our Director of National Outreach Chloe Sundberg, Julie Scher, Katie Brennan, Chief of Staff, and CFO Lelania Howard. There is a much bigger team supporting you once you have signed and completed your onboarding. This team is assembled so we can cover the high-level topics related to operations and finances.
3. During our time together, we will be giving an in-depth look at the business model and proprietary technology.
4. Lastly, you will travel to a local Sticky Fingers Cooking class so you can see what it’s like. This part of the day is super fun and we know you’ll love it!
Looking Ahead
After an inspiring Meet the Team Day in Denver–where prospective franchise owners connect with our passionate team while diving about the company’s mission, and experience a Sticky Fingers Cooking class in action–it’s time for your decision! This is your moment to reflect on all that you have seen, heard, and experienced so you can determine if owning a Sticky Fingers Cooking franchise is the sweet spot for you. We understand that this is a big decision, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
It’s possible you are in the midst of a discovery process with more than one brand and we understand that you have research to do. This is a common process in franchising so we want to support you on this journey. You might need to talk with your family, an attorney, or a financial advisor before you continue.
